I am 16 years old and live in Oakdale, California where I currently attend Oakdale High School as a junior. This will be my third year competing for high school rodeo in goat tying and breakaway roping. High School Rodeo is my passion and I couldn't think of a better way to enjoy my years as a high school student. District 5 covers eight different counties including Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Merced, Tuolumne, Amador, Alpine, Calavaras, and Mariposa County. High School Rodeo opens many doors, promotes good sportsmanship, and introduces students to life-long friends. It gives students great opportunities for scholarships, leadership experience, and to promote this country's western heritage. I hope to spread the awareness of District 5 and the love for the rodeo lifestyle. So come join us on the rodeo road.
