Hayley Carrier
District 2
Queen
Howdy, my
name is Hayley Carrier and I am the District 2 High School Rodeo queen! I
am a senior at St. Vincent De Paul High in Petaluma. I compete in barrels and
poles on my fabulous horse China. District 2 encompasses Northern California,
from the beautiful scenery of Del Norte County down to the breathtaking
Headlands of Marin. We all had a very successful week down in Bishop
placing top ten in numerous events and champions in two. I would like to wish
the best of luck to our two athletic and dedicated cowgirls, Reiny Hatch in
Barrel Racing and Chanel Reese in Pole Bending, as they make their way to
Gillette, Wyoming! Being District 2's queen for the past couple months has been
so rewarding... I have been in many parades, attended rodeos and presentations,
and I feel that I have truly been blessed with this opportunity. I am
looking forward to a year filled with fun rodeo events and many social
activities. I am honored to be the queen of such an awesome district!!!
The cards have been dealt, our poker hands are lookin' good, so watch out
districts because.... DEUCES ARE WILD!!!! |

District 5
Queen Hello everyone. My name is Katelin New and I am proud to represent the District 5 Big Dogs. I am 16 years old and live in Oakdale, California where I currently attend Oakdale High School as a junior. This will be my third year competing for high school rodeo in goat tying and breakaway roping. High School Rodeo is my passion and I couldn't think of a better way to enjoy my years as a high school student. District 5 covers eight different counties including Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Merced, Tuolumne, Amador, Alpine, Calavaras, and Mariposa County. High School Rodeo opens many doors, promotes good sportsmanship, and introduces students to life-long friends. It gives students great opportunities for scholarships, leadership experience, and to promote this country's western heritage. I hope to spread the awareness of District 5 and the love for the rodeo lifestyle. So come join us on the rodeo road. |
